INTRODUCTION
I am introducing myself to you.
I am a pastor, and have been pastoring different churches for the period of six years now, until recently, we opened a new ministry, even not yet registered, but working under a cover according to laws that govern the state of Kenya.
My name is Rev. Thomas Opiyo for Kenya, I was ordained last year by the Shalom Ministry,Inc, in Desmoines, Iowa, due to good relationship I had with them after comleting my Bible School.
We opened this Ministry four months ago, and on the first Sunday, it was me, my wife and my son, who attended the service, without seats and even instruments.
Why Am I sharing this with you ?
There is a challenge and a tendency in the Nation of Kenya, whereby the successful Ministries in the eyes of men are not ready to support upcoming Ministries.
I decided to open this ministry after undergoing a tough time under a Ministry leader who treated me like his own slave, not realizing that I am the son in the Kingdom.
I have done my Theological studies for five years and attained a Degree.
The reason why I opened this Ministry is actually to impact the lives of Christian because I believe that all true and committed Christians are harvesters, and the name given to the Ministry and the Church as well explains the burden/vision that God has given unto us.

INTRODUCTION.
The calling was met on 28-30 April 1999. The word of God was being preached and I was passing by. The word really touched my soul. This made me to join the congregation. After the service, the preacher called those who need salvation; I joined the group, prayed for and made a decision for salvation.
The joy and happiness of the lord filled my zone. Since then, I started fellowshipping in that ministry until December 2002. During this period, I was involved in ministerial work within the ministry. The presence of the Lord has been manifested in all situations. The out pouring of the Holy spirit have been witnessed, the sick have been healed from different kinds of diseases, the captives have been delivered from their captivity, People have been delivered from the power of darkness and many hearts have been stirred and drawn to God through the precious name of the lord Jesus Christ. We feel revived in our hearts with some rays of joy, everyday as we study his word open heartedly.
I started Impact Harvest Outreach Ministries on 13th December 2003 after undergoing Bible training and working as a pastor for 5 years. It is located at Chebukwa and has 35 members.
We are believing God to establish the Headquarter in Eldoret town, one of the Biggest towns around.
VISION.
The vision of the ministry is to preach the gospel as commanded by our Lord Jesus, To Evangelize, Plant Churches, Establishing Bible Training Schools to Train Saints and Church Leaders, Outreach Missions To Reach The Lost And Engage In Development Projects.
REASONS FOR CHURCH PLANTING
The reasons for planting churches include, to spread the word of God, having sound doctrine, strengthen our faith, to attain people to know the contents of the bible, to assist needy members in the community, to create employment, for guiding and counseling members in the community, training people on some careers like social workers, preparing youths for future responsibilities, to bring peace and harmony in the society, to enlighten the community around on current world, to bring baptism to the saints and improve health environment of the community.
PROBLEM AND JUSTIFICATION.
The regions have very few churches which are ever congested during fellowships, seminars and other church meetings. However, most of these churches have not been established on a true foundation, therefore disciples for Jesus Christ are not developed on sound doctrine of the Holy Bible.
Saints are forced to work long distances for fellowship and other church meetings. The church should have a true foundation and sound doctrine to effectively reach the lost for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. There is need therefore to reach more people to join body of Christ by out reach ministry and opening new more churches in the region having sound doctrine, this will greatly reduce the expenses incurred on transport apart from spreading the gospel .
In addition improper leadership is contributing to lack of interest of proclaiming the good news, fornication and adultery resulting to high HIV/AIDS infected and affected families, high indiscipline levels among the youths who copy wrong characters from in disciplined leaders, enmity and divisions among people due to lack of Christ love among them, criminal activities such as robbery and violence, drunkard ness, high corruption level in the country, high poverty levels, low interest in education and high level of school drop – outs.
Feasibility studies have shown that, over 2.5 million Kenyan people have passed away as a result of HIV/AIDS and only seven – out of ten children join basic education. Out of seven, only one mange to acquire secondary education.
For proper leadership, sound doctrine, reach the lost and eradication of poverty within communities in Kenya, impact harvest out – reach ministry has proposed initiation of out –reach ministry, church planting and Bible Training College project. The project will be made self sustainable entity in future through income generating activities.
FOCUS GROUP.
The ministry focus group are Bishops, overseers, pastors , deacons, Evangelist, Ministry coordinators, ministry secretaries, ministry treasurers, women leaders, men leaders and youth leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF FOCUS GROUP:-
Bishop is the presiding and overall ministry leader, his / her roles are to co-ordinate all ministry matters and activities to ensure effective running of the ministry. He/she should be a man / a woman of high integrity and ready to work in challenging Christian environment.
From the book of I Timothy Chapter 3:1-7, it is stated that, if a man desires the office of a bishop, he desires a good work. A bishop must be blameless, the husband of one wife, given to hospitality, apt to teach. Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre, but patient, not a brawler, not covetous. One that rule well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity.
For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God? Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover, he must have a good report of them which are without, lest he fall into reproach and share of the devil.
Overseers are leaders of churches in a specific region. Should be a pastor of one church within that region and occasionally visit all churches in that region to get progress report of reach individual church. The overseers present the progress report to the bishop. Pastors are leaders of churches within the ministry. They preach and teach true word of God, co-ordinate all matters and activities in churches they represent.
Pastors are assisted by deacons who sometimes act as assistant/associate pastors .
From the book of 1 Timothy 3: 8-13, Deacons must not be double – tongued. Should not be given too much wine, not greedy filthy lucre, hold mystery of faith in a pure conscience, let the office of a deacon be found blameless, even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober faithful in all things, let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. For they have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree and great boldness in the faith which is in Jesus.
The evangelists are within all churches and their role is to spread the word of God in the surrounding communities door to door Evangelism, seminars, crusades etc. The ministry co-ordinator will work closely with the Bishop in co-ordination of ministry activities and implementation of any project within.
The ministry treasurer is to keep all financial records and accounts accurately and co-ordinate bank transactions within the ministry. Women leaders, men leaders and youth leaders will lead, women, men and youths respectively.
COMMUNITY NEEDS:-
Community needs includes, supporting the orphans and widows in the community, water development, school and technical institute establishment development of health centers and initiating income generating activities apart from core needs of ministry church planting and establishment of Bible training colleges.
DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
In Kenya, the birth rate of people is 1,000,000 persons per year and death rate is 400,000 persons per year. An estimate increase in population in the country per year is 600,000 persons. In community the population is approximately 200,000 persons, the birth rate and death rate are estimated at 10,000 persons and 4,000 persons per year respectively.
At the moment the ministry is yet to find population breakdowns of youths, women and men. The age brackets of members in the ministry ranges from 6 years to 50 years. The youths in age bracket of 18- 40 years from majority.
Moreover, less than 5 % of the 200,000-community population is enlightened on the word of God with sound doctrine.
The ministry will not hesitate to avail all appropriate demographic information whenever it is required.
PROPOSED LOCATION.
The proposed location is within western Kenya and Rift Valley regions. Majority of residents are Luhyas and Kalenjins and other mixed tribes who have a strong traditional beliefs and customs. Residents rely basically on Agriculture to earn income
The Regions have very few churches without organized outreach ministry and ever –congested. There are few or no Bible training schools in the areas. Well established Bible training schools are far away from the region and have limited facilities to meet ever growing demand for theological training.
Preliminary research have also proved beyond doubt that the regions have very many orphans , widows and poverty stricken people whose problems need immediate attention . The studies further reveals that the situations have greatly been engineered by vices prevailing in the proposed locations; apart from problems facing Agricultural sector currently.
The situation can be improved by a big margin if great efforts are placed in planting more churches, out reach missions to reach the lost and opening up Bible trainings schools to instill good virtues in residents of proposed locations combining with initiating profitable income generating activities
MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission statement is to evangelize, train saints and leaders, reach out to the lost by presenting to them true gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ having sound doctrine and eradicating poverty among communities.
PROGRAMMES:-
Internal programmes within the ministry are , children ministry , youth ministry , elderly ministry , women ministry , men ministry , church strengthening ministry , prayer ministry , choir , praise and worship ministry .
The proposed programmes are , outreach ministry , church planting and establishments of Bible training schools . They will be only external programmes within the ministry
CORE VALUES
The core values of church planting outreach ministry and establishing Bible training schools is to empower people (saints) spiritually and economically through feeding them sound and true gospel of Jesus Christ , spread the true word of God and eradicating poverty by creating in them good virtues.
MINISTRY ORGANISATIONS
Every church planted by the ministry shall have a pastor as an overall church leader.
The churches in the ministry will have Sunday fellowships, Wednesday fellowships and Cell group Bible studies on Tuesdays and on Thursdays.
Assembly fellowship for all churches shall be organized occasionally and held at one of the churches within the ministry every last Sunday of the month.
The model of the ministry is working together with other ministries and team work within the ministry for true discipleship in the body of Christ.
The ministry is currently undertaking her activities from a rental house which is ever congested.

LAUNCHING TEAM:
The ideal launching team are supporters of the Ministry , Bishop , Ministry Coordinator , Ministry Secretary , Ministry Treasurer , Ministry Men Leader , Ministry Women Leader , Ministry Praise And Worship Leader , Ministry Ushers , Overseers , Pastors , Deacons , Evangelists , Government Officials & Confirmed Ministry Partners or Legal Affiliates .
The specific role I expect to fill is to coordinate all activities within the ministry and remain the Ministry's Founder and Bishop.
OBJECTIVES
In view of these, the ministry has proposed a project with the following objectives
MAIN OBJECTIVES
Spreading the word of God, and poverty eradification in Kenya, by:-
Planting churches, Bible colleges, orphanage homes, schools and as academies, technical institutes, Radio station, Health facilities, Agricultural facilities and many more ministry projects
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Planting Churches
Establishing of outreach missions.
Initiating Bible Training Schools,
STRATEGY:-
Establishment of Outreach Ministry And Church Planting:
The site where the new church is to be planted shall be identified basing on key factors for church planting. Outreach Programme will be carried out at the site through, door to door Evangelism, seminars, and conferences by all leaders and members within the ministry.
Land will be hired, tent and other plastic chairs bought. The site will be prepared before placing a tent.
Through mobilization and further outreach missions, the ministry will conduct series of meetings within the tent continuously for a period of 10 days. Thereafter, the ministry will identify qualified experienced pastor within the ministry or any other ministry to represent the new planted church.
The new church will appoint its board church leaders and initiate required ministries in appropriate period of time through consultative meetings with the ministry; this will take place in the first year of church planting.
The ministry is targeting to plant at least five churches in the proposed locations in different sites every year.
INITIATING BIBLE TRAINING SCHOOLS:
The ministry will prepare organized time schedules for Bible training in her ministry.
The required brochures, books, manuals tapes, etc for training will be bought and borrowed by the ministry from their friend Ministries with the sound Doctrine.
Expert theological teachers within the ministry; ministry partners etc will be hired by the ministry to prepare lessons, plan scheme of work etc and conduct trainings in all churches and the Bible Colleges.
Durations for each training will depend on the required qualifications that the trainee will attain.
After every training for a given class graduation will be carried out coupled with releasing of certificates for the trainee
Depending on the source of funding the ministry may give a waiver to all fees levies required in the training or charge very small fee levies which is affordable by most of poor residents of the proposed locations
In addition , the ministry will have initiated income generating activities that will support the project after 3 years crucial period this will qualify the project to be a self sustainable entity without further donor support .

CASH FLOW ANALYSIS
Through outreach ministry and church planting it is expected that the ministry will have at least 300 members in the first year of the project implementation.
The ministry has a doctrine of offering in every Sunday fellowship. Assume the ministry has only 60 members in the first of project implementation and each member contribute an average of kshs 5 towards offering each Sunday every month has 4 Sunday fellowships
Therefore per month = 60X 5 X 4 = ksh 1,200
A year has 12 months , total contributions per year = kshs 1,200 X 12 – kshs 14400.
In second year of project implementation number of members in the ministry will be 300 which is 5 times more than in the 1st year , therefore total offering contributions will be 5 times more = kshs 14400 X 5 = kshs 72,200
Total offering contributions at end of two year period = kshs 72,200 + 14,400= Kshs 86,600 the ministry will also raise funds through community contributions , donor and other well wishers before initiating income generating activities to enable the project to be self sustainable

The equipments include public address system: Speakers, key board, generators,Guitars,Microphones, Mixers, Amplifiers, and e.t.c.
The Bible College needs will depend on what God is speaking to you same as Outreach Missions.

“Kamakhya Balak Ashram” is an orphanage situated at Debipur in outskirts of Barasat. It was established in 1989 and the inauguration ceremony was held on 2nd July,1992. It began its career with the taking up of 10 orphan students as its responsibility . At present, there are 54 children being taken care of in the congenial atmosphere of the Ashram .
