Germany - Weekend 4 - Austria - Day 3
On Monday morning, the four of went to Schloß Schönbrunn. We took the audio tour through about 40 rooms in the palace and learned a lot about the history of the Maria Theresia. For those not familiar with Austrian history, Maria Theresia may be best known as the mother of Marie Antoinette. There were other cool things nearby, such as a zoo and gardens, but they all seemed to cost more money. We took the tram and U-bahn back into town and had Wiener schnitzel for lunch. (I just *had* to!) We spent the afternoon walking around town a stopping at various shops. We split a bag of Mozart chocolates that were pretty good. In the late afternoon and evening we took the train ride back to Ulm.
